Our professors are, in their majority, CNPq productivity researchers and have ongoing projects financed by national funding agencies, such as CNPq, CAPES, FINEP, as well as international agencies like NIH, Welcome Trust, ERC. Locally, FAPESB has been supporting our researchers on many projects related to the Program. The Program also counts with approximately 29 Masters grants and 60 Doctorate grants. These are financed through CAPES, CNPq and FAPESB. Our professors also count with these same funding sources for support of scientific initiation research projects, carried out at the respective Institutes to which the professors are associated, and are often associated to projects developed in the Program. Thus, many of our Masters and Doctorate students are tutors to the Scientific Initiation Program students.
